Beverly Ann Nutter

Beverly Ann Nutter, a devoted wife, loving mother, and adoring grandmother, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Bev graduated from Limestone High School in 1967. Shortly after graduation, she began working at Fleming-Potter, and later dedicated more than 30 years to Edward Hine Printing Company. Her dedication, strong work ethic, and kind spirit left a lasting impression on everyone she worked with. In June 21, 1969, she married the love of her life, Brian Nutter. Their partnership was a beautiful example of love, commitment, and shared joy. Together, they raised two sons, Brian Nutter (Jodi) and Doug Nutter (Mae Lee), who were the pride of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marie and Walter Duhs; siblings, Walter Jr., Glen, Tom and Barb. Bev's greatest joy came from being "MeeMaw and Gram Gram". She poured her heart into her four grandchildren and never missed a chance to support them. Brian and Jodi's daughters, McKenzie (17) and Brooklynn (14), and Doug and Mae Lee's children, Hudson (18) and Payton (12) were the light of her life. Whether it was football, softball, school events, or everyday moments, Bev was always there with a warm hug, a cheering voice, a loud whistle and endless love. She was a loyal supporter of Pekin football and Illini Bluffs softball, rarely missing a game. But more than that, she was the heart of her family, steady, strong, and full of love. She will be remembered for her kindness, her quiet strength, and the way she lit up whenever she talked about her grandkids. Bev's legacy is one of love, kindness, and quiet strength. She was a woman who gave without asking, supported without hesitation, and loved with her whole heart. Her memory will live on through her family and all the lives she touched with her generosity and warmth. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. A celebration of Bev's life will be announced at a later date for family only. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in her memory to Illini Bluffs Sports Booster or Pekin High School Athletic Booster Club , in honor of her lifelong passion for supporting her grandchildren and their dreams.
