Jeff Bessler

Jeffrey Daniel "Jeff " Bessler of Pekin, passed away at 5:20 am, On Saturday November 18, 2023 At Carle Heath Methodist in Peoria. Born April 24, 1967 to Emma Ann (Bledsoe) and Daniel McNutt Bessler in Peoria. He married Doris Lorraine Sisler on March 16, 2001 in Pekin, she survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Tristin (James) Lela Of Pekin, Karyn (Tayler) Nelson Of Mapleton, three sons, John Tomlinson Of North Pekin, Tim Bessler and Paul Bessler both of Pekin; two grandsons, Nikolai Lela of Pekin and Asher Nelson Of Mapleton, one granddaughter, Mckenzie Nelson of Mapleton; his father, Daniel Bessler Of Marquette Heights; two brothers, Robin Bessler Of Glasford and Danny L. (Susan Diane) Reno of Tennessee; one sister, Donna Johnson of Tennessee; two nephews, Tom Dobson and Casey Dobson both of Tennessee; two uncles Frank (Teri) Bessler of Arizona and Paul (Lenia) Of Delavan and several great niece's, nephew's and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother Emma Ann Bessler, two grandfathers, Robert Bledsoe and Paul Bessler, two grandmothers, Marion Bessler and Marie (Bledsoe) Cook, two uncle’s, Robert L. Bledsoe and David Bessler, one niece, Sarah Bessler and cousin, Paul Bessler of New York. Jeff''s main title was Kitchen Manager, he last worked at Sangalli's Restaurant in Pekin. Jeff was a die-hard Chicago Cub fan. As a kid Jeff played baseball and love to get into trouble with his friends. He love his wife and five children and his grandchildren, he loved playing with his grandson Peanut (Nikolai). Jeff also loved his parents and siblings and many friends. Jeff loved spending time with his to boys watching scary movies on T.V. and going to the theater. Jeff also Loved His Fat cat Flurry and Groot, and His dog Opie. Jeff and Opi loved to play fetch. He also love to talk to Scott Robbins on Facebook about his cats and dog! Jeff was a hard worker and a great dad to his kids. Jeff will be missed by all he loved and who loved him.
