Bonita “Bonnie” L. Winchell, 78, of Chillicothe, formerly of Pekin passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at Heritage Health in Chillicothe. She was born on July 15, 1942 in Chattanooga, Tennessee to Virginia Eldridge. Survivors include two sisters; one brother; four grandchildren; nine great- grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; one son; one niece; one great-niece; one great-nephew; and two dear friends, Sissy and Sandy who will miss her dearly. Bonnie was the head Manager of the bakery department at Randall’s grocery store for many years. She enjoyed playing bingo, cards and computer games. Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services at this time. The family wishes to thank Heritage Health in Chillicothe for their exceptional care of Bonnie. Schmidt-Haller Burial and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.
