Glasford, Howard L. Hanse, 66, of Glasford, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021 at his home in Glasford. He was born October 29, 1954 in Peoria, to Everette and Donna (Ring) Hanse. He married Tammy Taylor on May 9, 1981 in Peoria. She survives. Also surviving are his two children, Morgan Lynn (Tony Mannon) Hanse of Chillicothe and Christopher Lee (Kacey) Hanse of Kingston Mines; four grandchildren, Kyla, Kaleb, Austin and Mairen; his mother Donna and one sister, Kathryn Brown of Washington. He was preceded in death by his father, Everette Hanse. Howard worked as a Mechanic at Joe McCarthy Olds and Heritage Buick. He was a member of the Illini Muzzleloader and Fort Creve Coeur Board Member. Howard enjoyed spending time with his family, watching NASCAR and being a part of Mountain Man Re-enactments and Rendezvous. Cremation will be accorded and Schmidt-Haller Burial and Cremation Services are in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Peoria Rescue Mission.
