Kenneth Wayne Buchanan, of Peoria, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2020, at the age of 57. Born in Peoria on March 20, 1963 to Gale, and Beverly Buchanan, Ken married Lynette Magner, and she survives. Also surviving are his children, Roschelle (Michael) Smith, Jessica Smith, Ken Buchanan, Jr., and Greg Schlueter; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and siblings, Dennis, Ronnie, Patty, and Debbie. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Mike. Ken was a hard worker, and proud veteran who served in Operation Desert Storm during the Gulf War. Cremation has been accorded. A memorial service will be held at 3PM Saturday, October 3, 2020 at the Peoria Eagles Club. Schmidt-Haller Burial and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.
