Martha R. Dennis, age 78, of Peoria, passed away Sunday, Nov. 1, 2020 at 10:38 p.m. at her residence. She was born Oct. 14, 1942 in Pleasant Plains, ARK. to Clarence and Odean (Reeves) Lyons. She married William Dennis in Peoria in 1962. He survives along with two children: Norma Breweur of Chillicothe, Eric Dennis of Peoria, five grandchildren: Natalie, Neil, Noah, Jean, Erica, and four great-grandchildren: Zachary, Morgan, Mollie and Gabriel. She is also survived by three sisters: Mary Walkenhorst, Clara Glenn, Wanda (Mike) Dyer, and one brother, Jimmy Lyons. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, William Dennis, one son-in-law, Kevin Breweur, two sisters: Jenny Pharis, Barbara Binder, and one infant brother, Donald Ray Lyons. Martha retired from Wal-Mart as an Assistant Manager. Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no services at this time. Schmidt-Haller Burial and Cremation services is in charge of arrangements.
