Michael Lee Mallicoat

Michael Lee Mallicoat, age 74, of Creve Coeur, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday Aug. 25, 2021 at OSF St Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born Nov. 6, 1946 in Beardstown to Virgil and Betty (Wilhite) Mallicoat. He married Jeannie Marshall on Feb. 14, 2013 in Las Vegas. She survives along with one son, Michael Scott Mallicoat of Keithsburg, IL, one daughter, Lori Rudd of Bartonville, three grandchildren: Miranda, Bree, Jake, two great-grandchildren, and six siblings: Judy (Gary) Debis of Bartonville, Raye Mallicoat of Bellevue, Jaye (Vickie) Mallicoat of Mossville, Bettie (Dennis) Roberts of Mackinaw, Barbara Mallicoat of Peoria, and William Mallicoat of Peoria. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother. Mike worked for Caterpillar, Inc. for 30 years retiring in 1997. He was currently driving a school bus for First Student in Bartonville. He was a member and current President of Kidz for Cue Sports Kiwanis Club in Creve Coeur. Cremation rites have been accorded through Schmidt-Haller Burial and Cremation Services in Peoria. A celebration of Mike’s life will be Sunday, Oct. 17, 2021 starting at 1 pm at the Marine Corps League at 13370 Garman Rd, Pekin, IL. Memorials may be made to Kidz for Cue Sports at 210 N.
