Randall "Randy" Lyle Baker Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Randall L. “Randy” Baker, age 58, of Peoria, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at 7:47 a.m. at his residence. He was born June 13, 1963 in Peoria to Larry and Janet (Asbury) Baker. He married Corine Braman on May 7, 1983 in East Peoria. She survives in Peoria along with his parents of Lawrenceburg, IN, one daughter, Carleen Willmon of Peoria, one son, Andrew Baker of Peoria, two grandchildren: Kyline Willmon and Ryan Baker, one sister, Melissa (Gerard) Collins, and one brother, Mark (Tara) Baker both of Lawrenceburg, IN. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, and one nephew, Jordan Baker in 2008. Randy was a United States Navy veteran serving for eight years; four years of his service was aboard the U.S.S. Charleston (LKA 113). Following his time in the military, he was a Warehouse Supervisor for Sorce Enterprises, Inc. in East Peoria, retiring in 2017. During his life, Randy had a love for baseball. He enjoyed going to Peoria Chiefs games and was a lifelong fan of the Chicago Cubs. He also named his best friend, a dachshund, Wrigley, after the famous baseball field. Cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of Randy’s life will be Saturday, June 25, 2022 starting at 1 pm at the Quality Inn at 4112 N Brandywine Dr. in Peoria. Schmidt-Haller Burial and Cremation services in Peoria is in charge of arrangements.
