Sandra "Sandi" K (Burwell) Zolkowski Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Sandra "Sandi" K. (Burwell) Zolkowski, 72, of Arlington, TX, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2022 in Washington, IL. Sandi was born February 6, 1950 in Peoria, to Francis "Frank" and Imogene "Imy" (Byrd) Burwell. She married David "Tim" Board on August 17, 1968 in Peoria and they were married 13 years. She later married Donald "Don" Zolkowski in 1984. Surviving are Sandi's two children, Brandi Board of Peoria and Donni Zolkowski Jr of Arlington, TX; a granddaughter, Lauren Zolkowski of Peoria, formerly of Arlington, TX whom she has been raising; two siblings, Gary (Kathy) Burwell of Colona, IL and Kim (Kenny) Dragoo of Washington, IL; one niece, Chelsi (Kevin) Engelken of Lake Camelot; three nephews, Travis Wilkerson and Joshua Burwell of the Quad Cities, and Bradley Dragoo of Washington; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and one niece, Tiffany Dragoo. Sandi was owner and operator of White Glove Cleaners in Arlington Texas for over 20 years. She enjoyed being a business owner and spending time with her family. She will be remembered for her sweetness, her loving heart and for always putting others before herself. Cremation will be accorded and a Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, May 7, 2022 from 11 am to 2 pm at the East Peoria Boat Club, 707 Collins Ln., in East Peoria. Schmidt-Haller burial and cremation service is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the family for the care and education of her granddaughter, Lauren Zolkowski.
