Wanda Lou Gaul

Wanda L. “Monkey” Gaul, of Bartonville, passed away July 28, 2020 in Pekin at the age of 75 after a struggle with lung cancer. Born on June 02, 1945 in Fort Payne, AL to William H. Smalley and Beulah Dalton Smalley, she married Arthur E. Gaul on May 15, 1965 in Peoria. He preceded her in death on February 29, 1992. In addition to her husband and parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her siblings, Betty Sue Williams, Bobbie Jo White, James “Big Jim” Smalley, and Howard “Pill” Smalley; and stepfather, Eddie Griebe. She is survived by her son, Glen (Thea) Gaul; granddaughter, Jennifer Gaul; brother, James “Bo” Smalley; and several nieces and nephews. Cremation has been accorded and interment will be at Swan Lake Memory Gardens. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
